Welcome to the Studio

This space was formerly an illegal parking lot under the 20th Street Overpass. Fletcher Studio provided pro-bono design services to the community, that resulted in two successful grant applications.

Located in South San Francisco, Nexus on Grand is a 4.3 acre life science campus. We designed a central plaza space, and a perimeter landscape terracing system that accomplishes stormwater project goals, while mitigating an 18’-foot grade delta. The ‘Nano’ mural by Marc Northstar acts as a backdrop to the emerging pedestrian amenities, where office tenants can gather.
